The American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) sets the standards used globally in boating and yachting design, construction and onboard systems. Certified Technicians have studied in their field and must pass rigorous examination of their knowledge to gain accreditation from ABYC. ABYC then supports these technicians with technical knowledge libraries, specialised courses and workshops to broaden their skills further. ABYC has a directory of all qualified technicians so that you can be assured that anyone with this logo is a legitimate ABYC Technician.
